i think if you center align the background your using and do a little adjusting it will look fine in most resolutions.
i changed the resolution on my screen a few times to make sure my layout looked right in all resolutions. |

i think if you center align the background your using and do a little adjusting it will look fine in most resolutions. i changed the resolution on my screen a few times to make sure my layout looked right in all resolutions. He could attempt to use a % instead of a absolute value for aligning everything but then he'd have to edit absolutely everything, including the graphics. The problem is actually the Myspace layout itself and not the background. The background just isn't covering the entire Myspace layout so what people on the right are seeing is the layout as it would normally look like. If he wants to fix that he can edit the background image: http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/6623/tek4el.gif as it's 800x600 and make the width wider. The problem with this is that smaller resolutions will then have a horizontal scroll bar. I'd say leave everything as is. It looks fine even under higher resolutions. |
