Perhaps it's just curiosity, or maybe I actually am bisexual, but I can't seem to get this out of my head. I'm totally comfortable hugging girls and holding hands, and I've thought about it and don't have a problem with ever being in a relationship with a girl. I've noticed that I've become way over the top when it comes to discussions about homosexuality. I get so defensive and personally hurt when people are immature about gays and lesbians.
Problem? My parents. I've told them about my friend and her girlfriend, and they haven't been very open-minded about it. They aren't against it or anything, but I can always sense the hesitation in their voices when they express their opinions on it. If I do decide that I want to date girls, I don't want them to be weird about it... I really don't know what to do... I'm so confused. |

But, just because you feel compassion and get defensive in discussions about homosexuality or lesbianism doesn't mean that you are. Other people defend them but they're not homosexual or a lesbian.
Just be who you are. Maybe you are bisexual, maybe you're just bi-curious or maybe this is just a stage in your life. If your parents truly love you, they'll accept you. They'll come around eventually. At least they didn't like outright say that homosexuality is wrong and etc etc. |
