In your opinion, would block scheduling be better than traditional scheduling?
Examples. Block scheduling = Different classes on different days of the week. Monday-Math, Lit, Social stud etc. Tuesday-Lit, Gym, Science etc. Traditional = Same classes every day of the week. Monday-Math, Lit, Social stud etc. Tuesday-Math, Lit, Social stud etc. |

We had this utterly ridiculous schedule last semeser that had one period of block..kind of. It's too confusing to bother describing, but it was utterly ridiculous.
Typically we don't have block scheduling, but these past two weeks we did because of EOCTs or something. It involved two hours in three classes a day, and at first we all hated, because that's a lot of time to spend taking notes (and then later to do next to nothing at all) but on by Fridays when we went back to the usual schedule, I missed the lengthiness and not having to go to every class every day. It was nice for a time, but I'm not sure I'd want it all year. |
