moving Jitters, *sigh* Options

ok well looks like my parents want to move to houston. *i live in dallas* but like i've lived here for about 7 and a half years and im really nervous of moving there we have to moved there by july 3rd and i dont know how im going to fit in and everything my moms says if i keep a positive attitude everything will be alrite but i can't help but be negative cuz iml eaving all of my friends and memories behind here... have you ever felt this way how did it turn out?? what should i do to keep a positive attitude and how i should fit in my new school. Thanks so much

I've been through moving plenty of times. I've moved a few times but I haven't had any great memories. I just wanted to forget.

You have 44 days left, make the most of it. I looked at Mapquest, Dallas is only 3 hours and 41 minutes away. It's not that far away... Plus, they're big cities so you can probably take a Greyhound or something directly back to Dallas to visit. Also, since they're big cities you're bound to make plenty of new friends. Just be true to yourself and be who you are. Don't worry too much.
