Kiss/Flipp div, For a friend... Options

My third attempt, I did this one for a friend to his specifications so he could show off some more of his photos and such.

The pixely graphics are 'cuz the originals of the photos he had sent were gifs - that "error diffusion" effect when reducing the colors makes them look that way. As far as loading, I warned him about that due to everything he wanted - I knew having the photo section at the bottom would make it terribly graphic intensive, but he wanted 'em there anyway!

As far as the misalignment, it all has to do with the fact that I can't see resolutions above 1024x768 and being new to all of this div stuff I don't know how to fix it when I can't really see what it's doing. All of the ones I've done look perfect on IE, Firefox and Safari at 1024x768... above that, they're likely to be muddled. If anyone would like to take a look at my code and help me out ('cuz the code as a whole is probably a mess at this point) I'd be happy to take suggestions at fixing it!
