How are/do/did YOU move on? Options

Honestly, I'm having a very hard time moving on from my last break up. I see him everyday in school and it's hard to ignore him when he's trying to get my attention. So, I was wondering how are/do/did you move on?

I'm trying to ignore his existence until I'm alright by picking up a new hobby, learning the guitar, and getting myself busy w/ my friends.

At first, i really thought we were meant to be.. Although he's not all that sweet and caring towards me, but i loved him very much. I msg-ed him everyday without fail, called him a few times in a week just to make sure he's fine. But little did i know, it was all pointless. Earlier before that, my friends, on the other hand kept telling me it's not worth it. He left me without saying a word and he just totally ignored me one day.

Well, it was actually pretty hard to move on.. But i have no choice. So i told myself that, if he's not the right one for me, why should i stay in the past when i can move on, continue searching the love of my life? Also, i remind myself that i still have my darling friends.. Later then, i realised being single is not that bad. Yes, i may not have dates, receive sweet messages, someone to cuddle with.. but i have way many things to do with myself AND my friends n family. Anyway, it took me about 3 months to completely get him out of my mind. All that don't matter anymore.. i'm happy now.. I have someone new that treats me way better than him..
