and i really only think of him as my friend. i mean i don't really like him but he likes me and it came as i total suprise. i don't know what to tell him. i mean i think it'd be fun but i don't want to lead him on. what should i do?

It's been a few days, are there any updates? Have you two talked about any of this? If you haven't, you could just mention something like, "I'm glad we're going as friends, you're such a cool guy" or something along those lines. Specify the 'friends' part, but add a little flattery in there so you don't come across on the rude side, y'know? Just to make it an easy transition. Or just tell him that you want to take things slow and you wouldn't want to rush into anything. But you should definitely got with him, if worse comes to worse you could just dance with other people if you had to for whatever reason.
