Is it just me, or are guys more cocky than girls are?
I noticed that many girls, including myself, have a bad self image of themselves. Why do you think that is? ANNDDDDDDDD.. Girls sometimes say that "looks don't matter, personality does." Then when this ugly kid asks them out, they say "HELL TO THE NO" or something like that. So, including me, I'm not attracted to "ugly" guys. :| But then again, my husband is shmexyyyyyy. :) I'm not saying I'm shallow, Some "ugly" guys turn out to be okay. But some of them seem really mean. ;x |

I think guys are more secure with themselves because there's no need to be skinny or fit or whatever for them. They don't need boob jobs or liposuction or lip enhancements or nose jobs, they can be an average joe and still get a hot wife or any kind of wife period. There are so many products aimed at women to enhance their looks like make up, push up bras, padded bras, etc. What is there for the men?
Looks do matter to a certain extent and you can't say okay to every offer you get. The person doesn't have to be one of the hottest guys on earth or just hot or cute or whatever but you can't go out with someone you're not attracted to. When I say that personality matters more than looks, I mean it. If the "ugly" guy said something funny or did something cute I'm sure I would have accepted the date if I was single. If all he said was like "you want to go out sometime?" I'd most likley say no, even if he was a really hot guy. |
