Well, I don't usualy do too well with introducing myself......but i'll give it a shot.

I guess all you need to know are the basics.

+ I have a Xanga

+ I found out about this site, becuz a friend thought it could help me with photoshop


To save me time and to save the boards from too many posts, I'll ask my first photoshop question here. How do I make my own brush? I'm not richest person so I only have Photoshop Elements 2.0 [if that helps you answer the question]

Thank you all for the warm welcomes and for the help.

Im not new to photoshop, I just usualy teach myself how to use it. However, sometimes thats not always the best way to learn, now is it? So, thats what leads me here. Plus, I heard that most of the people on these forums are pretty nice.


Thanks to your help, I was able to get the desired effect that I needed for my layout. I used your help to make a few brushes out of.....well, lets just call it a tenticle. Making it into a brush allowed me to change the color [using an overlay layer...I think thats what its called]. Anyway I appreciate the help. Here's what the layout looks like so far.




It's not done yet, but it's getting there.
