This morning in homeroom, I came up with an idea for a layout: calendar style. Here's the plan I made:

So that's what it'll look like. I want the header to be an image map, with the navigation on the side. It'll be a flash layout, so watch out!

So let's assume you clicked on the first CLICK sign (a blog entry). Here's what it'll look like:

A window will appear to the riht, unless it's a thursday/friday/saturday blog, then it would appear to the left. The blog entry would be pure white, and the rest of the page would be blurred out. There would also be a light blue small X in a box to exit the blog on the top-right corner. If you clicked a navigation link, a box similar to the blog one would appear, popping up to the right.

I'm wondering if it would be possible, but then again I don't know. Also I'm wondering if it would be possible to link to other pop-up sections on the page. I'm guessing it would be an image map/flash layout.

Also, you don't have to just do it for me. If you help me out, I'm willing to code it myself.

But one more question, would I still have to do this thing?:

<html>
<head>
<title>
foreverlove.dramatiq.org
</title>
CODE
ALLLL
THE WAYY
DOWNNN..

|
|
v

</html>

And..would I use a style sheet?

Yeah, about the new blog entry, I had a feeling there would be a problem with that. I was wondering if I could just do it manually somehow, but I don't really know how. Or if there was some way to just have a code do it automatically for me, that would be great too.

The calendar links...eh...I can do that. It's only once a month, so I would believe it's possible..?

Well, I kinda new that an image map was possible. But I only have MS Paint and PSP, so I don't know if it's possible.

You can manually blog and use http://haloscan.com . That sthe thing the calender would have all these old blog entries that some people might get confused. (well only at the end of the month)

Well calender links yea you can make it but you were planning on having the blogs linked on their day? That is harder in your case.

Image map is possible. Their are online image mappers that you need no program for that make things easy.

But I have a feeling you may need another program to accomplish this than just paint and psp.

*read the above post its a good idea!*
