alright, so i'm in this relationship with a guy. and we've been at it for a year and a half. the only thing that bothers me is that he rarely shows much affection. i mean, we talk to each other and stuff like that, and we've gone on a couple of dates. the only "intimate" thing we've ever done was hug and give a few gifts to each other. but sometimes he's so confusing. it seems as if he ignores me at some points, and i'm always the one who makes the first move to do something. my friends even went to verify whether or not he still likes me because they weren't sure if he did. but he still does...
ahhh. anyways. i really like him alot, but he's the most confusing, somewhat shy guy i've ever met. what should i do? it's so awkward to keep asking him out on dates and stuff since he's so...shy. and it's kind of embarassing to ask stuff like this on some forum with people you don't even know. but that can sometimes be a good thing...

hee hee hee that's so cute! It reminds me of the time I dated this "shy guy," who turned out to be my highschool sweetheart of 2 1/2 years!! Yea, it's hard to figure shy guys out! My patience ran out!! 'Cuz I hated it! I'd always have to *guess* what he wanted to do...or how he feels. Well...communication is the most important part of the relationship. If that is well maintained...then there shouldn't be a problem. BUT...from what I read...it looks like there isn't a stable communication between you two. If it were me, I'd tell the guy to "man-up" and give me the time of day...for my sake! |
