bah, relationships are confusing Options

alright, so i'm in this relationship with a guy. and we've been at it for a year and a half. the only thing that bothers me is that he rarely shows much affection. i mean, we talk to each other and stuff like that, and we've gone on a couple of dates. the only "intimate" thing we've ever done was hug and give a few gifts to each other. but sometimes he's so confusing. it seems as if he ignores me at some points, and i'm always the one who makes the first move to do something. my friends even went to verify whether or not he still likes me because they weren't sure if he did. but he still does...

ahhh. anyways. i really like him alot, but he's the most confusing, somewhat shy guy i've ever met. what should i do? it's so awkward to keep asking him out on dates and stuff since he's so...shy. and it's kind of embarassing to ask stuff like this on some forum with people you don't even know. but that can sometimes be a good thing...

You need to ask him what he wants and tell him what you want. You can't keep that kind of stuff bottled up hoping that he will find out on his own. Guys don't work that way, or rather people don't work that way. If you want something done, you have to do it yourself.

I was shy but I got over telling the guy I'm seeing that I wanted more. Things are great now and I got more =]
