Pretty girls + low self esteems = Bad combo Options

I'm just looking for a logical explanation here.
There's a lot of girls at my school, that have
extremely really low self esteems. These girls
are gorgeous. Most of them are my friends,
and they are always putting themselves down.
Why is it that girls have low self esteems? Do
you think it can be attention-wise?

I've seen a ton of pretty girls get out of good
relationships because they have bad thoughts,
about themselves. Wtf, mate.

Any ideas?

I have good days and bad days. On good days, I can look at myself and be like, "damn I look good." But that really gets to my head because I'll go walking down the street looking at other girls thinking, "don't you wish you looked like me?"

On my off days I'm just really insecure. Those days just happen, I'll wake up and feel crappy. I'll think that I look like sh*t and try on everything I own and still be unhappy with the way I look. Some guy will try to hit on me but I'll get pissed for some reason and just get even more discouraged when I see a girl with a better body than mine...meaning my size yet well endowed. I am very not well endowed and that is the root of my insecurity. The rest of me is fine but I just wish I could fill out something, anything well.

I don't wear make up or wear padded bras or whatever because I'm really into the whole natural beauty thing. When guys hit on me, it reassures me that guys appreciate the real me...but with this plastic surgery thing growing, I'm not so sure if it will last. The guys I've dated told me that they didn't care but I just don't believe them. In my mind it's like, "How can you not care? Breasts are what make women, women."

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You may think that someone is gorgeous but that person won't think so or maybe that person is having an off day.
