What's the worse break-up you've ever been in? Options

I haven't been broken up with in any
horrible way. But I've been torn apart
by a break up. One time, I dated this
girl for about half of a year, and we
decided to break up because we just
lost the "spark" for each other. Man,
was that the hardest thing to deal
with. She ended up dating my really
good friend, which tore me up even
more. I was a hermit. I never left
the house. I don't know..maybe I
over-exaggerated. But still, it was
way horrible.

Hrm, my last ex-boyfriend, ugh.

We were together for six and a half months, and for about two of those months this girl wanted to take him away from me. She did so many things to cause unecessary drama. There were rumors flying around, giving me reason to suspect my ex of cheating during the last month that we were together. I asked him about this, asking for the truth. I just wanted the truth, but in the end I found out he lied all along.

One day I was walking with my friend around our neighborhood back in California, when we saw my ex and the girl making out and practically all over each other, in front of my church. Nice, hm? I walked up to him, eyes full of tears, and hateful words pouring out of my mouth. I punched him in the face and slapped her. It was really hard to deal with for me, 'cause he was my longest lasting relationship and I truly loved him. I don't take relationships lightly and it took about four months for us to actually get together.


I hated him so much for it, and what's sad is that after we broke up, I still loved him for a few months afterwards. He's tolerable now though, I still talk to him through myspace a little less than often. But I'll never forgive him. It took me two and a half years for me to finally fall in love again with someone new.

I'm very happy now.
