I have a friend making rumours about me and the girl that i liked. and now the girl i liked is pissed at me... anyone know what should i do?

my friend is actually a girl, she dont want me to go out with the girl that i like, thatswhy she made the rumours and now the girl i like is starting to believe the rumours...
