Ok, so my son will be in the first grade this September and I'm wondering - do you guys/gals still use book covers on your text books?
![]() I know... cheesy cheesy... but I remember using old paper shopping bags as book covers when I was in school (you know, back when the earth was still cooling ![]() So help an out of touch mother out - what do you use, if you use anything to cover your text books? PS - I did a search but didn't find anything. ![]() |

Jeff!! ![]() ![]() Anyways. I once used those really sticky crappy adhesive book covers that stuck to your book.. I never got it off, so I had to buy another textbook. ![]() I remember those. The teachers would get pissed if you used them. I used those brown paper bags for my books when I was in elementary school. My parents didn't know how to do it because they never saw it before so they asked another parent to do it for me. They tipped them a few bucks too ![]() I don't think I got text books until like 3rd grade. In first grade, we had individual workbooks with pages that pulled out or we got handouts. We punched shapes out of the workbooks and all this other cool stuff I forgot about. My teacher would give us one M&M or one Skittle if we did our homework which was usually coloring something in and/or easy math problems. I miss first grade ![]() |
