okay I went to the GIMP page looking for a download so I went to the download section. I have no idea which one I'm supposed to pick.

Go to this page first. Then click on 'select download mirror' (which is under 'The GIMP for Windows (version 2.2.11)'). You should get to a page with more links on it and a large chart. Click 'download' next to any one with the continent 'North America'.
And there you go! ^_^ |
