I asked her out last night! Options

I'm going to tell the story of what's been going on lately.

For a while now, 3 or 4 months ago, I starting having this crush
on this girl Amanda. At first I thought it was a stupid crush, but
it developed into a bigger one every time I thought about it. So
eventually I began liking her. I didn't want to be lead on, like it
usually happens. So I told her that I liked her. After a while she
told me she was feeling the same way. So we've been giving it
time. Taking things real slow, and I like that. We've been
spending a lot of a time together. My family loves her. I love her
family. They love me. Our families get along which is really
great! Yesterday, I spent the day with her because my Rugby game
was cancelled. I went over and played with her younger brother for
a while. It makes me wish I had a younger brother. Anyhow, after
hanging out, playing wiffle ball with her, her brother, her sister, and
her sister's best friend, it was time for me to go home. So when I
got home, she came inside to say hi to my cat Valo. Then I hugged
her to leave. I was so shy to ask her, but she didn't even let me
finish saying it, and she said yes. I'm so happy! I can just picture
this being a long term relationship. Because even though I didn't
ask her out a long time ago, it felt like we were dating. It's really
really great!

i went out with one of my best friends and we broke up just last week. im not over her yet but we still talk alot and she is still one of my best friends

I think it shows a really big sign of
maturity when two people break up
and they can still maintain a
friendship. That's a very admirable
trait. I'm sure for whatever reason
you two broke up for, you'll get back
with each other eventually. She'll
realize that you being her friend is
great because maybe no other ex of
hers has done that. So she'll
probably find that attractive in a way.
