I've heard a lot of you responding about bluetooth...what is that? It's a method of wireless transfer, typically used in small devices such as cellphones. Basically, you need two things: a computer that supports Bluetooth, and a phone that supports Bluetooth. For example, because my phone supports MP3 ringtones, I do what a lot of other people above me have suggested: I cut an MP3 down to several seconds. Then I turn Bluetooth on on the phone and my computer, and voilá! The computer sees the phone, connects to it, and then I can share files between them without having to email them to me or whatnot. This means I can share files without having to pay data transfer rates for emails. Naturally, you have to have both a phone and a computer that supports Bluetooth, and to use MP3's as ringtones, you have to have a phone that supports MP3 ringtones as well. |
