So there's this guy. And he likes me. And I like him too. It's been this way since August. We do stuff together. We kiss. He's here almost all the time. But everytime someone brings up me and him actually dating, he says he isn't ready for it. Do I wait around and see what happens orrrrrr, so I move on and cut him off?

hm, tough one.
Well a 9-10 month wait is very admirable. However, if he's not ready after that, I don't know when he actually is going to be. It would probably be better for you to move onto someone else. It's not fair to have him keep you on a long leash. you know. I would normally say just chill, be friends and see what happens. However, it's been a long time, and I think you have done that already and you have seen the outcome. It might be time to move onto a better guy who is ready for a relationship and who is more mature. Of course you don't want to lose this guy as a friend or anything, but since you two aren't "dating", i'm sure it's not a problem for you to start seeing someone else. Talk to him about this first, and see what he thinks. It kinda sounds like you guys are already in a relationship if you have to "cut it off", you know. |
