So theres this guy in my class let's call him timmy. Well timmy and I were really good friends until one of my best friend, sharon came along then he started liking her and It really got me mad cause i mean i was really close to him and then he stopped talking to me for a long while because of her. Cause well me and sharon got into this big fight and he took her side, and I didnt know that so then i started talking about her to him and then he started yelling and cursing at me saying "Oh how could you say that stuff don't effin say that stuff about her blah blah blah..." so then i got really mad and i guess he did too so we stopped talking for like 3 months and I really wanted to talk to him so badly but didnt have the courage to. All we did was just give a quick glance at one another. At one point though I knew he liked me but sharon too at the same time. He told one of my friends that he was really confused and did not know who to pick but obviously he chose her. Now after everything he started to talk to me casually like once in a while. But then like 2 days ago I imed him for the homework but then he started talking to me like before and he was really nice to me. So then yesterday I asked him why he was so mad at me and how he really hurt my feelings and everything. He told me he was really sorry. And i felt relieved cause i actually thought that i might have a chance again. But then i told him that he probably didnt care anyway and he said, "Of course I do, your my FRIEND" (he didnt put that on cap locks on though) And I felt so sad and mad and so pissed off. And I know I should be happy that he's my friend now at least But i feel so hurt that friends is all that we'll ever be. Cause before when nothing happened he said that I was his GOOD friend. But then again he also said I was the prettiest girl but still. I dont get him at all. Well I just want to know what I should do Cause i REALLY llike him a lot. Oh and sharon is now going out with one of his best friends for a month already so he must be pretty jealous. I dont know i thought I should just put that in there.

I'm in a similar situation. Except in my case...I'm the "Sharon" of your story.

The thing is, you have to remember that being friends with a guy is good. Being close and good friends are good. Don't be desperate for something to happen. I mean, all relationships stem from good friendships. Talk to him about how you feel. If he doesn't come around, then just leave him.

Me in my situation, I would say that the guy didn't like me. We are just good friends. But this other girl, who liked him, got jealous, and now we're not talking. The we being the other girl and me. Sometimes, you shouldn't get so jealous over things like this. Speaking from experiences, guys being friends with girls, most of the time is just that. Friends. Nothing more and nothing less.
