Wordpress, why must you be so complicated?! Options

I've been following Meli's tutorial on her site on how to integrate WP.
I followed everything she wrote down to the best of my abilities and it should work..

But obviously I did something wrong.
Now when you go to my site, it's just a list with WP files and my page files.

What are you trying to do make wp your main page? or make all your pages have the wp template?

If your making wp your main page..
Heres the easy way to do it.
1) Log into wp and click options.
2) Find where it says blog adress and type http://decaelegance.infamous-mind.net/
3) Then make an index.php file and put this in it , edit the path to your header..

Edit this line:

require('./wp/wp-blog-header.php');

yours might be

require('./wp-blog-header.php');
or
require('.wp-blog-header.php');

Not sure.

After upload that to your root folder in ftp
