Yep, today's Earth Day. So what do you do to save energy and reuse items that aren't recycleable? Well, for one, I recycle bottles, cans, newspapers, and paper. I donate all our used clothes to Value Village and Purple Heart to the needy (and we donated a pickup truck a while ago to PH and a Toyota Camry to Melwood). I always shower with the water running at half-fullness/whatever (we have the shower heads that you connect to the original and it has this valve you can control the amount of water you want to let out), and I'm exctremely conscious of how much water/power I'm using.
 I'm a cool recycler!

wow, if i never saw this topic, i would have never known it was Earth Day. I thought it was somewhere in May. >_>. Anyways, i recycle the usual paper cans and whatnot. |
