I think they are. You got wack dudes like paul wall, d4l, dem franchise boyz, field mob, lil flip in the industry trying to heat the south up...but man I swear they are ruining the best chances that hip hop can get. Look at the east right now. IMO, they're in the top of their game right now. Jay Z and Nas joining forces, Papoose is just an ill mixtape monster doin his thing...You got Cass, Fab, Dipset, D-Block all movin a lot...jae millz what a what??? he crazy too...All NEW YORK...I mean I aint disrespecting the south or anythin but man their music is terrible...

I totally agree with you. I just recently heard Field Mob dissed New York and its movement...I mean please, I do not wanna see a East vs South war. East will eat em anyday. I mean if there has to be a leader for the south who is a big contender, I would have to say T.I. I'm not really a big fan of T.I., but he has proved himself for being the "King of the South". Second, I'll say Lil Wayne or Chamillionaire. Why? Chamillionaire has been one of the most suprising "south artists" I've heard since 2005...I'm not talking about Jeezy. But props to Jeezy for going gold. But this is real talk, the south don't want it with the East. Most east coast rappers got the hottest punchlines, they got every recipe ready to serve. Who wants it with Cass? Who wants it with Hov or Killa Cam? Who in the South can terminate d-block? I'm talking, NO ONE. NO ONE. East all day. I see Bow Wow doing his thing but...it's just not gonna work. Know what I mean?
