I've just returned to CB, and I feel so lost because I don't seem to know anybody anymore! However, I don't want to post a cliche survey because (a) it probably has already been posted and (b) I never care about the questions in those surveys. So here's a list of probing questions that would give me and the rest of the community a better idea of who each of you are, not what your favorite band is or if you've ever smoked pot or gone skinny-dipping. So here goes:

(1) What is your name?
- My name is Hersa. Call me Yan-Yan, but if you like Hersa better then go ahead.

(2) Choose three adjectives to describe yourself.
- RPG-Lover
- Optimistic
- Laid-back

(3) What/Who has (or has had) the greatest influence on your life right now and why?
- My parents. Because in almost every decision I've made in my life, it's usually theirs that I follow. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but what I do know is that they, like most parents, just want the best for me.

(4) What in your life do you value the most and why?
- Knowledge. The one treasure nobody can take away from you... unless of course you were abducted by aliens and they forced all those information out of your head so they can conquer Earth.

(5) Whom in your life do you value the most and why?
- My family. I think this one is almost instinctive. I don't value them because they're always there for me, as a matter of fact, my parents contradict some of the things I like. I value them the most because they're the ones I love the most. They are the people whom I know I will have an EXTREMELY hard time living without. ::hugs family:: I LOVE YOU!!!

(6) What, do you believe, is your purpose on earth?
- I don't know yet.

(7) What, so far, have your contributed to the world?
- Er... none really.

(8) Do you portray yourself to others in a way that is contrary to who you really are?
- Sometimes. It depends on the situation, but most of the time I'm myself.

(9) Pick a quote or two by which you live your life.
- Work like you don't need the money;
Dance like no one is watching;
Sing like no one is listening;
Love like you've never been hurt;
And live life every day as if it were your last.

(10) Is there anything you would like to change about yourself or your life?
- The fact that I sometimes have the tendency to over-criticize others. And that I've never given my best on anything I've done.

(11) What is your favorite place to be and why?
- My room. It's my personal space... kinda like my sanctuary from all the stress.

(12) Describe your life in five words or less.
- It goes on.

(13) What are you genuinely interested in?
- I'm interested in violin playing, dancing and martial arts. I'm also interested in finding ways to reduce-if not eliminate- poverty and corruption, especially in my country.

(14) If money were not an issue, what would you do with your life?
- I would probably live it my own way.
