Personally, I find people who use the word "gay" to mean stupid is incredibly offensive. When a person says something like "THAT'S SO GAY!", I swear a blood vessel pops in my head. And when I bring it up with my friends, they say things like, "I have gay friends and they say it too!" Well, your gay friends are the only homosexuals in the whole world.

Anyway, what do you think of it? You obviously know my answer.

that IS just stupid, as well as childish, because it is a trivial, non sensical point, as female dogs are not capable of feeling offended by it... you are equating the emotions of an animal with that of a human being. I certainly feel that that is justification enough for saying it was a stupid point. It was a ridiculou thing to say

well... this is about opinions... you're opinion is that it is fine, mine is that it isnt... kind of the point of this kind of discussion.

see, now you're frustrating me. animals do not feel degraded by the use of bitch. it is no ta possibility. gay PEOPLE can. therein lies that difference.

the use of something as an adjective, vs that of a greeting is not a significant differenc, because it is STILL the casual use of a word which may cause offense in everyday conversation. the fact that you've got this hangup about parts of speech is preventing useful progression of the conversation. if you can explain to me why the part of speech is significant, then do so, rather than just stating the obvious.
