So, I have to write a short essay. The topic is about how the river represents Huck's passage into manhood.
...I'll be honest, I didn't read the book. We've had so much other assignments to do, it was just pretty much the last thing on my priority list, but I can't afford not to do it, so any help would be greatly appreciated, such as... - What river, first off? - When & where did this river come into play? - What about the "manhood"? - Examples, examples, EXAMPLES. The river comes into play when [if i remember correctly] Huckleberry ran away from home and the town thought he was dead and searched for his body. He took off down the river with Jim. You should watch the movie, it's pretty good. Doesn't have EVERY little detail that the book does though.
