*sigh, I don't know what's happening. This situation is very confusing for me. I have to get it off my chest.

You see, my parents divorced when I was seven. My dad had an affair with a woman, so my parents divorced. That had a huge impact on my life...which caused my mom to remarry here in America and so we moved here. I now live with my step-dad (who I don't regard as a good dad, since he doesn't do anything), I still love my bio dad very very much.

Just took a walk outside, and few things came to mind. By all means I'm confused. I think I've really changed in my four years of going without a dad. What if he didn't have an affair, my life would be different. I would have prolly have the joy of having a dad, and that would have a positive effect on me. I hate the fact that my bio dad ditched me. I went thru more crap than any teenager of my age. My bio dad still loves me rite? Yea, he still writes to me and calls, but I don't feel the same way towards him anymore. He's not the dad I knew when I was five. He feels more like a stranger.

Now I'm trapped in this situation, with two dads, yeah. I have no idea how this situation can go on without any waves or conflicts. My bio dad says that he is my one and only dad, but I have to live with my step-dad for the most of my life. I'm trapped in the middle, with two dads.

It's a boring read for you guys I'm sure, but I don't know what to do....

i think the reason he says hes your one and only dad is because he feels hes in competition with your other father.. divorces can be tricky.. and you should still love you bio dad, but realize that he had an affair, knowing how it could affect you and he shouldnt have done it if he didnt want to face the consequences.. but loving your step dad is always hard, but you learn to after a while.. i mean, after all he is there to support you after your biodad left, and im sure he loves you very much and would do anything for you.. and remember not to kill yourself witht he "what if..."'s.. those only waste your time.. life's too short for regrets and wondering what would happen if...
