Yeah, like if you want to be able to watch videos through Createblog, set up a createblog premium for a price. Altho you GOTTA give ppl the option to stay non-premium and kepp going for free.

I'm not sure about premium, but donation sounds like a good idea.
And for those who don't get it, you don't have to donate. It would just be nice. Donate $5 every now and then, keep a 5.0 ppd, be in a "Donators" group, get the official member privaleges, along with some others. Others like being able to close your own topics only. Maybe have VERY limited moderating powers in the topics they are most active in, but for this they must maintain a 10 ppd. And maybe somebody can come up with a different tool...like a layout generator  as much as I hate the thought of generators on createblog. Or maybe a myspace tester, I believe we have a xanga. Or maybe blogger, website, and livejournal, who knows? I think a donators group is a very good idea, I believe it would be hard to pay for this HUGE site by yourself....And oh, maybe by the staff list all the donators can be listed, so they are noticed for their contributions to keeping the community running. However, I am against the videos. |
