"Sleep, I could use some." I hauled myself onto my messy bed, it's been that way since morning. Thoughts rushing through my brain, and the past excitement fading in my vains. I don't know much after that, as I simply lost myself in dreams.

"Come one Rhiley," He was so confident. It gave me chills.
"You try carrying all these things!" I couldn't keep a steady tone, I just had to laugh.
"Aw, poor little Rhiley, does she need some help?"
"Tch, not from you, though."
"OUCH." He flashed a winning smile and took some of the bags from me.

I didn't know what was in them, all I knew was they were HEAVY. Jay lifted them from me like no big deal. But I could tell it was an act. I saw the strain his face made for a split second before covering it up with a macho-man-look. It made me laugh.

I'm laughing and laughing away, and he just keeps strolling on. Then we both turn our heads to a commotion somewhere. There was the smell of burning rubber and the sound of breaks. BAAM! It happened all so fast. People screaming and runnng away from the scene. And I collapse to the floor in utter surprise. I couldn't see where the car was..or where it went after they shot him..but he was dead. Just like that. Jay was gone. And in the bags I saw packages. Weapons and drugs..? No..it couldn't be..

My head went to another place for a while after that, and before I knew it police were surrounding the area. I was being handcuffed. But I was still in another place. Trying to figure out how a perfect day turned so cruel. And then I traced back to the beginning of the day. Jay was stuffing something in his pocket. Money? Couldn't have been, I thought. It was a huge wad. And the most I ever saw in his wallet was a fifty. Now it seemed all too possible.

"Hey, ready?" he kissed my forehead gently.
"Yeah."
"I'm gonna need you're help, I have loads of stuff my friend wants me to drop off..."

The story just came to me, I didn't really have any ideas of how it was going to turn out.
