New Policy Topic, What do you guys think? Options

Alright, I thought we might get a jump start on next year's policy topic, what do you guys think about it?

Resolved:
That the United States federal government should establish a foreign policy substantially increasing its support of United Nations peacekeeping operations

YOU SPENT A YEAR DEBATING NATIONAL OCEAN POLICY!! That's such a mundane thing to debate! All the policy debaters in my district agree it was a horrible waste of time. That's why so many swithced to Ted Turner or LD.

But the fact that we could debate it and debate it well still shows our merit

Its a very organized form of debate where you identify a problem in the status quo pertaining to the year's topic, show that not enough is currently being done, propose a plan to solve the problem and prove that your plan will work

Policy debate is a form of debate in high school that involves two teams of two people each yelling at each other really, really fast.
