conversation starters Options

i have a girlfriend and she is really cool and stuff.
we've been going out since 04/04/06
we talk alot online and it goes really well.
but when we are actually together,
things get kinda quiet and she tends to go away
and hangs out with her friends.
she tries to start conversations
but without realizing it, i end it pretty soon
by giving simple and short answers.
i try hugging her and holding her hand
but she still walks around to her friends
can you help?
i need good conversation starters

I'm having the same problem, except the reason I'm having this problem is because we've run out of things to talk about because we've talked soooo much.

Try to just talk about something random.

Ask about her day, or something as simple as talking about something that happened at school. Ask her what she has for homework, and compliment her (girls love that).

Sorry I can't be of much help, but like I said, I'm having the same problem.
