Where there was a path to wisdom
There was a path to ignorance One who foolishly takes a significant choice Falls to his realization "I want life to come and take me away, Or I will have to come and take life away myself." A bewildering lament never forgotten Scarred to the very flesh of his skin and bone "Why should I suffer the lust for death? When I can experience the euphoria of life?" Drinking up what the chasm offers This carnage of confusion spirals downwards Into the lair of a grotesque feeling -- It's not done but oh well. |
