When did CB get so uptight about grammatical details?
Now, don't get me wrong. I realize that correct grammar and coherent sentences are important. Sure, sometimes I can't help but subtly pointing out a grammatical mistake. But is it really necessary to bash someone for a run-on sentence or misplaced apostrophe? Do people really deserve less respect because of the way they type? It seems as if some people are desperate for superiority... I'm surprised at how many evangelical grammatists have developed on this forum. Thoughts? Opinions? Partagez avec nous, s'il-vous-plait. |

Well, there's extreme cases (trust me, they were extreme - I had no idea what the person was saying) where the person could spell, but the sentence structure...
 and it's just like, "Please don't speak if you can't...".It's blatant misspellings that really get me... |
