did anyone see smallville or the OC tonight?

gawd, i was bawling my eyes out from the O.C. finale!

okay grab oyur popcorn people, becasue this is gonna be looong!

I completely thought the wedding was supper weird. They spent at least 3 episodes leading up to the wedding moment! Then it took less than 2 minutes on the scene and cut to the reception!

Tears started coming at the reception. When Marissa said "I love you" thats when i started crying. I cried all the way until the end and Kirsten's sobbing...*sighs* that just made me bawl. The next day my eyes were sooo puffy!

AND THE SONG! My oh my! The song added to my crying by the way. The angle shot where Ryan is leaving Marissa...ooo that's where they first met and thats where the season ends...classic finale scene: leave the person you love where you saw them first!

Seth sailing off to the unkown...ah!! that added to my crying to, when Ryan was leaving and Seth was being a big baby about not saying goodbye and Ryan leaves the room and a tear falls from Seth. *sniff*

There was one part though, that if i had a choice i would edit out, was the part where Seth and Marissa were blaming each other about Ryan leaving. I think that just ruined the mood! It was suppose to be a sad and sort of ending kind of feeling and then of course this IS The O.C. so naturally, the put a little argument that might foreshadow onto Season 2.

The camera scenes and angles did and excellent job in really pointing out that this is the season finale with the camera going back and forth among people: Seth on his boat, orange setting sun, Marissa in her new home, Kirsten changing the sheets, Marissa goes out on the balcony and takes the a gulp of vodka, camea zooming out from Marissa, Kirsten bawling with Sandy by her side, and end shot back to the boat and orange sun. On top of all that, the sad sad sad song!
