ok my friend thinks she is pregnant .. she doesnt want to tell her mom .. her boyfriend is 18 .. she said if she is pregnant she would like to get an abortion becuase she doesnt want to mess up her schooling .. would her boyfriend be able to take her and get an abortion without her parents knowing ??

^The raping/sueing stuff isn't about this topic. This topic is for whether or not the maybe-pregnant girl should tell her mom or not that she's a non-virgin.
Well, I probably wouldn't do this - but your friend should tell her mom. Like what one person said - the mother might actually be supportive and be with her on the abortion. It wouldn't hurt for her just to tell her mom. Even if she does get mom, her mom can't do anything about it. What's done is done - and sex most likely isn't going to ruin a mother daughter relationship, ya know? Hopefully your friend's mom loves her daughter enough to understand the situation she's in, and help her cope through it. However, your friend can just go through with the birth, and give it up for adoption. I don't know, this is seeming a little close-minded. Either death or having to live with the baby. Which isn't true. If she gives it up for adoption, maybe she can ask an aunt, older sister or something like that to adopt it, and once your friend is ready to have her baby back. Or, if she wouldn't feel comfortable with that - fine. At least she would be able to watch her baby grow. It's just her decision. But she really should tell her mother about this. |
