Do you ever read the terms and agreements when installing a program. I don't because I find it too long to read all of it.

Nice bump.
![]() And I *always* read the T&A. To me, it's like washing an article of clothing without reading the cleaning instructions on the tag. I wouldn't want to put something that shouldn't be put in the dryer, in the dryer. Same thing goes for software. I have to make sure everything is compatible with my current resources. Sure, it could be included in my long list of anal rententive behaviors, I just feel more secure in doing so. Also - sometimes if you just skip to the end while installing, you might override some of the default launch programs, which could get seriously annoying. (For example, I don't want Quicktime to be my default media device, but if I were to just click next -> next-> end -> and so on, while installing I might inadvertently do so). |
