I always heard that diet pills only take away your craving for food, so once you stop taking them, you'll get your cravings back and gain weight. I heard of this girl that took this diet pill that had way too much caffiene, her heart started beating way too fast, and she had to go to the hospital. They told her that if her heart had been beating any faster she could have died.
The problem is, certain doctors will prescribe diet pills no matter what. They don't tell you the risks, they just give you them. At least, my mother's doctor would just give her diet pills. I don't think they are safe. It would be safer to just exercise and eat healthy, because there really is no easy way out in weight loss. |
