If I have the equation

and i need to input pi/6 for x, WHICH EQUATION DO I PLUG INTO THE CALCULATOR

2sin((1/2)(pi/6-pi/3))

or

2sin(1/2)(pi/6-pi/3) ?

because they give me completely different answers.

It's 2sin(1/2)(pi/6-pi/3), because it doesn't matter what order it's in...actually, according to BEDMAS, either way should give you the correct answer.

Is your calculator set on Degrees? Make sure it's not radians or grads. I don't know if that's supposed to make a difference.
