I took Algebra 1 in 8th grade. And that's not normal. TUuur. Algebra 1 is a freshman class.
My math career (as planned): Algebra 1 - 8th Geometry - 9th Algebra 2 & Trig - 10th Calc 1 - 11th Calc 2 - 12th Mhm. |

You have almost the same thing as me...at least in the beginning Algebra 1 (gifted)- 8th Geometry (honors)- 9th Algebra 2 (honors)- 10th Precal/trig (honors)- 11th AP calculus AB- 12th Most people take algebra in 9th and then differ from there. I think we have more math tracks than anything else; it gets pretty confusing, but I'm pretty much taking the most advanced classes I can, just not in the highest levels offered after algebra 1 because I was so bad at it. |
