Okay well if this isn't really a good topic go ahead and close it mods I just thought I would tell you all...
Okay so I'm in honors. I know, you're probably thinking, "Geek alert". But that's what bothers me. Cuz on TV shows, movies, all that stuff the people in honors are thought of to be geeks, and supposedly all the hot guys are dumb*sses. But at my school allll the popular (and HOT) guys are in honors...and all the popular girls are in honors. All the dumb people are the geeks...its freakishly weird... I don't know you can discuss it I guess :\ --->Sierra Oh yeah, why are smart people automatically labeled as geeks in the first place???? |

half the people in honors at my old school got through the year by cheating on tests and copying homework.
edit: and by the way, stuyvesant is NOT full of geeks. my sister went there with a whole bunch of friends, they got decent B-range grades and still were able to party every weekend. it's a smart school, but that doesn't mean that they're all geeks. |
