My mom watches them all the time. I grew up going to horse tracks and being surrounded by plastic cups and small white tickets. Oh, and those large stairs in race tracks like Santa Anita in California. My mom is always screaming at the television, too..
She would make it an excuse whenever she would get something for a ticket to "something free if you go on x day" so she could go. The actual thing, though, annoys me, and I've always told my mom "I don't like that the horses are whipped" and "It must hurt" |
