Hi, I just have a simple question for you all.

Me and my friends were discussing the fine line between a guy friend, and a boyfriend, and needless to say, we all were very confused by the end of our discussion. So...I was wondering if guys could help us out happy.gif

How do you tell when a guy is your friend?

A guy friend is someone who has no sexual interest in you. ^-^ And you can basically tell him ANYTHING.

{And believe me, this whole "friends with benefits" thing is a bunch of bull. It's been done before, it's nearly impossible for a girl to be in a sexual relationship with a guy without wanting him to be her boyfriend.}

I will have to respectfully disagree with that statement. I know many women that have a "friends with benefits" relationship.

As far as distinguishing between a platonic relationship and a romantic one, usually there's a physical attribute and an emotional connection that differs from that of a strictly "friends" relationship. I don't think that you can exactly define what that emotional connection feels like. Figuring out whether or not a person is just a friend or more than that is something you just *know*. (Now whether or not they return those feelings is something else entirely)
