Oh I completely understand the direction they were attempting to go - they also wanted to demonstrate when/how a mutant's powers start to manifest themselves (hence the kissing scene in the beginning of film one).
So yeah, I understand - I just don't *agree* with it. I think a better character to utlilize in that capacity would have been Jubilee (who was younger than most of the group). Rogue should have been kept the fiesty and poweful southern belle that was created in the books. |

Or any of the other movies for that matter. Jubilee needs more screentime. |
