I searched, didn't find anything much similar to this topic.

What do you do to get rid of your unwanted emotions. Such as anger, jealousy, sadness, contempt, heartbreak. Do you get in a fight with the person who brought on a few of those feelings ? Do you write about it in your online journal ( Lol ) ? Do you write in an actual journal ? Do you turn your music up so loud that when you scream, no one can hear you ?

I usually find myself writing about it while listening to music that usually sings a little of what im feeling, and then I bake. Writing about it, just lets me see everything in front of my eyes. And it's a huge relief. The music, I can't even explain. It just opens me up and I feel better. And for baking, I like just getting lost in all the measurements and whatnot. Plus I cook really well _smile.gif

Dude, playing an instrument is therapy. When I was still living at home, anytime I got into an argument with my mom I'd go in my room and slam my door, and then seconds later you'd hear my flute nonstop for the next few hours. Total teenager, right?

Now I'm not so bad anymore, but Enya (don't laugh!!).. That has got to be some of the most calming music I've ever listened to. If I'm mad, upset, or stressed I just put my mp3 player on my 'calming music' playlist which consists of Enya and various flute and piano music.
