there are probly 100s of topics on this but i couldnt find any..
sorry!
but anyway
my friend likes the same guy as me
she claims to have liked him first
but anyway
he likes me
and i dont want to let her hold me back
from ever going out wth him.
cuz its not fair that we always like the same guy
and neither of us can go out with him
should i not lose the friendship and forget about him?
or go for it
cuz she said she wouldn't care if i went out with him..
as long as she could go out with him too when we broke up..
haha
but i still feel kindaa bad...

Ask yourself:

Which one are you willing to lose, your friendship or the guy?

Because chances are, if you date the guy, it won't be the same with your friend, even if she promises it will. It just won't.

How will you feel about your friend dating your ex (after you broke up), suppose everything goes as planned? Can you imagine him saying the same sweet things to your friend as he did to you? Wouldn't jealousy be floating around somewhere?

These situations are hard. It always depends on how worthy the people are.
Is your friend the "oh i know her and she backstabbed me once" friend or the "we grew up together and she is the only one who has seen me cry" type?
Is the guy the "hot and popular" typical hottie or the "he makes me feel special and he really cares" guy? Ask yourself all these questions before making a decision.
