My favorite DVD got scratched. So far, I've tried Windex and a paper towel and toothpaste and a toothbrush (someone said it worked!) my mom bought me a CD cleaner for Christmas but she had no clue what she was buying (I have to walk her through copy and pasting things on the comp!?!)

I was wondering if anyone had found something that worked to "fix" the scratches.

BTW, they are big scratches just enough to stop it from playing on my labtop. They aren't grooves or anything crazy.

You should just go to a computer store and get it resurfaced, should'nt cost you that much.

I read somewhere that speading toothpaste over a cd with a soft cloth then wiping it off gently with the cloth works as well.
