Weblog Entry Options

i got a layout from this site and when i post a new weblog entry and try to personalize it (center the text, change the font, change the font size ect....) it does it in the weblog place and then once i post it none of those changes have been made. what i want is to be able to center some blogs and change the text when i want ect.
