I learned not to go out of your way to get something for a customer, because once you track down security to watch the store so you can run to the storage room and grab a pair of shoes and come back absolutely breathless and exhausted, they suddenly decide they don't want the shoes anymore and "Thank you but I just want to *think* about it."
