I thought Dani (Libertie) was going to bring this up because we were talking about it a while ago, but I guess not.
In any case, we are raising the minimum post count to become an official member to two hundred posts in order to prevent people from posting fifty times to gain access to the extra tools and then leaving forever. Therefore, should we not also raise the minimum post count for a layout request from fifty to two hundred? Because if we didn't, it would be the same case--people would post fifty times and then ditch the forum once someone made a layout for them. |

Okay, I agree with a raising of the post count, but will that help anything? Members are still going to ignore the rule.
How about people without that post count not being allowed to start a new topic in that forum automatically? ...similiar to non-mods not being allowed to start topics in the xanga layouts sections... is it possible to program that? Sure, 200 posts is fine, but I'd suggest 150 (200 takes a while). |
